In association with Lines of Beauty, and complementing the drawings in the exhibition, Caroline will focus on key works by old masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt van Rijn, Anthony van Dyck and Claude Lorrain, amongst others. Dr Caroline Campbell has been Director of Collections and Research at the National Gallery, London since 2018. Previously she worked as a curator at the Ashmolean Museum, the Courtauld Gallery and the National Gallery, where she was the Jacob Rothschild Head of the Curatorial Department. Caroline has curated and co-curated many exhibitions, including 'Bellini and the East' (2005–2006), 'Love and Marriage in Renaissance Florence' (2009), 'Building the Picture: Architecture in Italian Renaissance Painting' (2014) 'Duccio/Caro: In Dialogue' (2015), and 'Mantegna and Bellini' at The National Gallery (2018).
